Trouble in Paradise

"He is afraid of losing you since we had thought only a couple moments ago that you had been killed. We were all upset but I think Batty was the most upset because he really loves you Nilla and he would never forgive himself if anything were to happen to you" Crysta replies

[Nilla Joy]

"He does? Really?" Says Leslie in return. "That would explain everything!" She thought, feeling guilty the way she never saw his emotions coming this way.

Meanwhile Pips went on trying to look harder for Zak unknown to him that was lost and Zak was trying to look for him too. "Zak! Zak!!" He try calling out for his name again. "I better turn around. This area doesn't look safe." The fairy wonder and turn back, hoping to get himself unlost. Everything was going fine til he heard a familar faint sound calling for his name back. "Zak? Zak is that you?"

"Of course he does" Crysta says with a smile
Zak heard Pips voice again very faintly. "Pips? Pips!" He called again following the source of the sound hoping he wasn't just hearing things or getting himself hopelessly lost

[Nilla Joy]

"Zak? ZZZAAAAK!!" Pips flew back trying to see if he had any luck getting near to that faint voice, but then WHAMMO! Pips accidently crash into a long leg and not just any leg; the leg of a Maned Wolf; a furry four leged creature with the looks of a fox but devil insticts of a wolf. The maned wolf bent it's head down and snarled at Pips, nearly getting by a snap but Pips move outta the way in time and flew into fright. "ZAK!!" Pips screamed with the Maned Wolf following close on his trail.

Nilla's ears picked up a small weak but fainted sound, but she couldn't make it out. "Did you hear that?" She asked Crysta still flying to her by her side.

"Pips!" Crysta says hearing him scream and flew as quickly as her wings could carry her toward the sound of his voice knowing he must be in trouble and hoping she could reach him in time.
Zak heard Pips yell and now ran as it sounded urgent like he was in trouble or something. 'I sure hope he'll be alright' he thought as he ran

Pips flew faster as his wings could carry him with the Maned Wolf still hot on his trail, trying to bite him from side to side. With the wolf still chasing him, Pips found Zak up ahead and quickly grab him in the air, but there was no time to stop for the maned wolf wouldn't stop going after them.

"Hey wait up!! I can't keep up with you if you fly faster than I do!!" Nilla calls out to Crysta, trying to pick up the speed. "I'm right behind ya!!"

"Whoa! Hey!" Zak says as Pips grabbed him it took him a moment to figure out what was going on but when he heard the snapping jaws and felt the hot breath of the predator chasing after them he immediately understood that they were running for their lives or rather flying.
"Sorry can't slow down! Gotta find Pips and Zak" Crysta says to Leslie (Nilla) fearing that if she slowed down something drastic would happen to the both of them

BIC: With the maned wolf still going after them, Pips, carrying Zak with him flew faster and faster. The prediator was gaining close onto speed, but without looking, Pips failed to see where he was going and accidently slam into a a thick small little tree branch, sending him and Zak together at the same time dropping to a fall.

Slowly, the wolf had them where it wanted. It was now too late to be out running the animal now. Pips panickly grab his arms onto Zak looking and feeling scared. "I can't believe my life's about to end this way!!" He cried before adding an unbareable look at Zak "And with you!"

"HANG ON LITTLE GUYS!!" Nilla shouted, echoing her voice half way across the forest. Nilla and Crysta were about to get there on time (or so they thought) when all of a sudden, an unknown black thing swoon in and smack the wolf right across the face. "HUH?!" Pips stare in confusion, wondering who came in on time to rescue them. It look like a bat, but they couldn't figure out who it was. The battle was going on so fast, it was hard to let them know. Outrage, the wolf drop it's paw at the heroic animal and pin it down til it sank it's jaws on the poor animal.

The animal shirek into screening pain. Nilla knew that sound couldn't have come from Zak or Pips. She gasped. "Oh no!!" She flapped much further almost getting a little bit far ahead than Crysta did. She was the first one to reach them when she saw that Pips and Zak were being saved by an unknown dark animal. The maned wolf wriggle the animal in his mouth before tossing it aside where it hard against a tree and drop down flat against the ground with it's head resting at the tree before it. "STAY AWAY FROM THEM YOU MANGY ANIMAL!!" Says Nilla out loud gliding down to the rescue.

Quicky as it were, Nilla flew in from behind the Maned Wolf's tail and bit it hard. The creature howled in pain and ran around in circles, trying to get Nilla off it's tail. With all of the best strengh that she had, Nilla flew high as she try and pull the Maned Wolf's tail before letting go. The tail strike the animal on the back of the head before running off in pain. The she-bat heard a hard moaning sound; a sound that tells you that soneone was in pain. When Nilla turn to see who the hero was that held the Maned Wolf back to save Pips and Zak, she dashed over to him to see if he needed help, but to her suprised she found the very least animal in the rainforest that would come to anyone's rescue.

"MATTIE?!" Nilla drop her jaw in shock. "How did--but then the--you....you save their lives! WHY?!" Cries Nilla, still trying to overcome why he would do a good deed for her friends. The dark bat's wound were very deep. He had a bad terrible bite from the back of the neck that was bleeding all the way down to his wing. He could barely keep his eyes open for a minute. "Don't say I didn't do nothing good for you...." Mattie said weakly wincing from his serious injures feeling close to death.

OOC: Bet you didn't see that coming huh? ;D

OOC: Oh no! poor Mattie

BIC: Zak had been carried by Pips and noticed a tree branch that was coming quickly in their path. "Pips watch out!" he yelled but it was too late, Pips had crashed into it. Zak winced in pain after they landed hard on the ground and sorely stood up on his feet. His body was stinging in pain from the hard crash. He fought back a scream as he noticed he and Pips cornered by the large predator before glaring at Pips at his comment of dying with him. He let out a yelp of surprise as he saw a black flash of something he did not recognize at the moment fly right into the face of the Maned Wolf.

"Zak! Pips! Are you guys alright?" Crysta says flying down to them and standing beside them. She and Zak turned to face Leslie (Nilla) and see an injured and dying bleeding Mattie lying on the ground. "Oh no" Crysta says covering her mouth in shock fighting tears. Zak stared surprised for a moment before thinking 'No...not again...'. He looked at Crysta and Pips "Can you heal him?" he asks the two of them. Crysta flew over to Mattie she wasn't sure if she could or not but she was at least going to try

"NO! It's too late to fix the damage. I have the right to die." Mattie said grunting from a sore pain. He refused to let Crysta help him heal his pains. The wounds were too serious to be heal by fairy magic. "But-but...what about your herd?" Nilla asked sadly. Mattie couldn't lifted his body up even if he try to lifted his own head to look at the she-bat from the eye level. "They'll be fine. They survive dangers without a leader before." He said before gagging a quick cough. Nilla peek through his wounds by taking her claw gently on his wing and discover he had more serious bad bites everywhere on his stomach too; the bites of a maned wolf. She bit her lip trying to fight back her tears. "Mattie, don't go." She said getting teary eye. She never expected herself to say those words to him before.

"I have to...you're better off without me. You deserve happiness Nilla." He said before adding his last final dying words "Don't tell anyone what I did here." And with that, Mattie slump his head back on the tree closing his eyes. Nilla sniffed, wiping the tears from her eyes before leaning her forehead againest Mattie's. "Thank you for everything Mattie. I don't know how I'll repay you." She thought to herself. Much as she never like Mattie so much, Nilla would always remember him. Through the tough times and the coldest times, even before meeting Batty, Nilla knew there was no one she can secretly count on than Mattie who was more than grateful to take her in when no one else did.

Batty appear on late to saw what was happening from the scene. He flew down next to Pips and Zak and watch in shock to see Nilla weeping over for Mattie. "I'm here, I'm here!! I....what I miss?" Pips stare stunnfully. "I don't know, but I think Mattie save our lifes." Batty look over in shock, in suprise that Mattie did another good deed for him, this time a big brave one. He sadly frown at Nilla, but made no comment. He decided now wasn't the best time to say nothing for he still couldn't get pass the same Mattie that had a change of heart for him and for Nilla.

OOC: No! Mattie died! Waaaaaa!

BIC: When Mattie objected to Crysta helping him she stammered replying "But- But I could-" she stopped letting Leslie (Nilla) speak and stepped back a couple feet. "Nilla I am so sorry" Crysta says after a couple moments of silence. 'Nilla?' Zak thought even though he hid his confusion since everyone seemed to know about it except for him. He turned to face Batty "Pips is right he did save us Batty" he says before looking over at Crysta and Leslie (Nilla). Instead of him walking over to them he motioned for Pips and Batty to do it with his hands

BIC: I forgot Zak was the last one to find out Leslie's real name And yes poor Mattie...first time I've really killed off a character like that without bringing them back to life. What a sad sad waste

OOC: Batty leaned his head a little bit and notice there was some blood drawing down from Mattie's body. He never thought Mattie would be the kind of bat to die mortally wounded in bruises and bites than to be heal again by the mystic powers of fairy magic by Crysta. He stood there wondering to himself "Did Nilla loved Mattie?" He thought worriedly. It was hard to say from the way Nilla was taking Mattie's death seriously. He hope this wasn't true. All those full hours he try so hard to impress Nilla and win her heart, even when she lied to herself about being named Leslie, Batty had been more concern about Nilla's feelings for Mattie than to be weeping over the loss for the bat who had taken care of his crush away from the batkeeping owners.

OCC: Yeah Zak was the last to find out Lol. And I have never killed a character without bringing them back wait no I've done a couple that I still feel bad for but generally I never have done it either.

BIC: Zak knowing they weren't going to move walked over to Batty first walking behind him and pushing him over to Leslie (Nilla) whispering "Talk to her" and then goes over and does the same for Pips while sitting down on the fallen tree limp Pips had crashed into earlier watching silently

OOC: Welcome to the club my friend

BIC: "WAAA?!" Says Batty in suprised when Zak instist he should comfort his crush. "Oh no you didn't!!" He thought soon as the tiny human pushed him, including Pips to comfort Nilla and Crysta for the loss on Mattie. Pips was all right comforting Crysta for her time of need, but Batty was bad at it. He wasn't so good at cheering up someone unless it was a friend, but this someone he really loved, there was no way Batty could bring out the right words to make the silence break. "Ummm..." He says wordlessly. Nilla waited for a response. "Well?"

It would appear that Batty was gonna on and on and on with the ummm word forever when out of the question, his antennae spark loudly and scream from out of the blue "YOU DON'T LOVE ME!!" Nilla stare at him. "What?!" Pips threw his hand at his head shaking in embarassment. "Ugh Batty!!" He said in a low tone without making the others around him hear them. "Oh you did NOT just say that out loud Batty!!" Batty said to himself in thought, looking Nilla and the others in embarassment.

OCC: Thanks. Uggh no Batty!

BIC: Crysta smiled slightly she was glad she had Pips since at the moment she felt like she might have done the wrong thing by not trying to save Mattie. She turned and stared surprised as Batty blurted out "You don't love me!"

'Uggh! Batty!' Zak thought before he quickly jumped up to his feet and ran over to Batty and Leslie (Nilla) and covered Batty's mouth before the antenna would make him blurt out something else. He gave Leslie (Nilla) a sheepish grin and he said "Batty here didn't mean that it's just that darn antenna of his makes him blurt out things that he doesn't mean sometimes...right Batty?' He made Batty nod his head and grinned in a guilty like fashion
