"Yes but even though she did you promised you would help us so you can either stay here and mope or you can keep your promise and help us because I am not breaking my word" Crysta says before walking off hoping Batty would feel guilty and follow her and she hated to talk to him like that but she wasn't sure what else to do at the moment and it worked for Pips so maybe it could work for her

"Promises?" Batty mutterly whisper to himself after Crysta had said the P word to him to make him feel bad before walking off hoping that it would trick him. "Promises..." He mutter again. "That word sounds familar...." He said to himself. What had that mean? And instantly just like that, Batty found himself in a flashback. He recalled his own words he said to Zak the first time after he confess to the fairies that humans were destorying the forest instead of protecting it. "You know Zak, truth doesn't always win friends, but it certainly influences people." And he had been right. It wasn't always the tpyical thing Batty would say, but it was a good piece of advice he would give to his close friends.
Thinking far ahead mindlessly; wondering if he was figuring out if he was doing the right choice or not, his brain got distracted when he heard sounds of bird chirping coming from the same tree where he was hanging. From that same tree branch, a flock of small birds swoon down and stood on the tree branch in a straight row order. "Go away! Go on now, shoot shoot!!" Batty said, waving his wings to flick them away. He brought himself back on from the branch straight up. "Why do those birds suddenly appear every she was..." He asked thoughtlessly, til he finish the last word slowly. "...near?" He finally figure it all out. "Of course! It all makes sense! Like me, they long to be...close to her." No matter what the truth may hold, Batty discover he still had strong feelings for his crush. The bat gasped horribly out loud.
"GREAT GASTBY! What have I done?! I've made a terrible mistake. NILLA! I'M COMING MY LOVE!!" Batty raised his voice out loud, commiting his strong loving words for his crush. Immediately, Batty quickly flap his wings and started to fly fast...that was before randomly crashing into another tree. "Ow...I'm okay! I'm okay!!" He replied a little dizzy.

Crysta smiled when she heard the flap of Batty wings but ran over to him when he crashed into a tree. "Batty! Are you alright?" she asks

Batty shook the dizziness outta his head and remember that he still needed to rescue Nilla and the others. "Nilla!! We have to go rescue Nilla!!" He said. He took Crysta by her shoulders again and started carrying her with him back to the building. "HANG IN THERE!!"
Meanwhile back inside the building, Nilla try to search frantically from the topest to the bottomness to find Crysta and Batty, but so far had no luck at finding them. Then suddenly, she pick up another scent, but it wasn't Crysta or Batty. She rosed her nose high up and sniff carefully. "I smell...I smell...human? HUMAN!! OH MY GOSH! ZAK!!" Luckily, she finally track down Zak's scenet and went straight over to find him.

Zak meanwhile was tied to a chair he had two black eyes and a gag around his mouth. He was sore from fighting his captors when he had first woke up after being carried into the building. They had found it pretty hard to restrain him but had done it after beating him a couple times by slashing him a whip on the back leaving three bad cuts on his back. He now winced as he attempted to wriggle his hands free without trying to wake the big man that was guarding him.

Nilla follow closely to the scent thanks to her nose and stop by and peak through a window where she found Zak beat up and tied up to a chair with a guard watching over him, but was sound asleep. "Now's my chance!!!" She thought. Carefully, Nilla glide down carefully and landed by Zak's shoulder, but kept quiet.
"Shh! I'm here to get you out. Keep still. And don't make a sound!!" Nilla whispered. Glancing down, she saw that his hands were tied up with rope. She flew down slowly, carefully not to flap her wings too hard or else it might make the guard wake up.
Nilla press her teeth hard on the rope and bit it off, unreleasing Zak's hands free. After she was done there, Nilla flew to the guard carefully near by his belt and slowly tug the keys off from there and handed them to Zak.

Zak was surprised to see Leslie (Nilla) but smiled slightly. Once his hands were free he pulled the gag off his face and caught the keys looking at the guard checking to make sure he didn't wake up and sighed quietly with relief before gesturing the she bat to follow him as he slipped out the door quietly as possible

Back at the same room where Mattie and the other bats were still being held hostage from their cages, Pips was doing his best to free the bats, but it was impossible to do since he couldn't use any of his fairy powers to let go of the lock that was keeping them in there, even if he try playing his flute it wouldn't work cause there was no dirt around to make plants grow and break them loose.
"Try harder little fairy, you can do it!!" Says one of the smaller bats. Mattie gave them a mad angery evil look. "QUIET!!"
"I'm....trying!!" Pips says. All he could do for the best is try to pull the lock, he did the best that he could, but it was so strong for his little tiny arms to make come out. By accident, Pips' hands got sweaty and let go, landing him flying againest a wall but with a strange clicking sound that broke his falling. "30 seconds to self distrust!" A voice annoucer said. Red lights kept flashing on and off and on and off.
"YOU IDIOT! You set off the alarm!!" Mattie shouted at Pips. "If we don't get outta here on time, we're gonna die!!" Sob one of the bats from behind him. Meanwhile Batty and Crysta had reach the front entrance on time when the sound of alarming red lights were going off. "AHH NO!!" Batty cried. He knew what that loud sound meant.

Crysta covered her ears with her hands trying to block out the loud alarm noise that was now going off. "Batty, what is that?!" She asks yelling to be heard over the noise.
Zak meanwhile had heard the alarm go off. 'Damn! The Alarm! Who set it off!' he thought as he now ran down the hallway following the sound to find where it was coming from to turn it off before anyone else heard it. As he ran down the hallway he slid accidently on wet puddle crashing him into a open broom closet with a broom hitting him on the head and a bucket crashing to the floor. He hissed in pain as he had landed on his back. Before quickly jumping to his feet as he now heard footsteps and peoples voices coming down the hallway. He ran into the nearest room which happened to be the one where Mattie and the others were and quickly closed the door behind him after Leslie flew in leaning against it to block the people from coming in.

"This is bad, SO VERY VERY BAD!! If we don't find everyone on time before the voice hits 1, KABOOM! They're gonna blow up like firecrackers on president's day!!" Said Batty in a worried shakey voice. "Nilla..." He whimper, hoping that she was okay. "We gotta save them!!" He cried with a panick in his tone.
"Zak!! Over here!!" Pips called out, trying to wave at him. He started to ran aside to them, but before he could reach him, something amazing happen. For the first time during the last 5 to 6 hours, Pips felt power in him again; feeling a sense of green light on his legs. His wings started fluttering again. "My powers!! It's....it's back!!" He said excitedly. He was so reviled he wonder if this was happening to Crysta too. Nilla smiled at the little fairy, but faded it out as the alarm was still going. She flew to where a red button on the wall caught her eyes, but when she got there to reach it, it was already damage. "Someone broke the alarm!"
"Why don't you ask mister oh I-can-do-everything with my fancy red hair and boyish good charms?" Mattie said sacrastically pointing a claw at Pips.
"HEY!" Pips shouted, glaring at Mattie. Leslie look at him that was not so pleasant. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" She cried. "It was an accident!!" Pips try to explain.

Zak stared for a moment he could slightly hear the others since it was slowing coming back to him but not everything they were saying yet. He did however hear Pips say 'It was an accident'. Zak uses a large empty cage to block the door before running over. He ran to the button. "Yep it's fried alright" he says and looked at the time which read ten seconds. 'Oh great' he thought before running over to the bats cages using the keys in a hurry attempt to unlock them. "Leslie you and Pips head out of here" he says and before either could object he said "And no buts just go, quickly!" he says. He looked back at the door for a second noticing that at any moment the men would enter the room but he shook his head fighting the panic rising inside of him as the alarm continued to go off and he had to open the cages one by one

"What?! But--"
"You heard what he said, no buts! Now come on!!" Leslie said, taking Pips with her to get out from the side of the window that was open while Zak was hurrying as fast as he can to open the cages to release Mattie and his herd. As they were heading on their way out, they accidently bump into Crysta and Batty. "Crysta!!" Cried Pips. "Batty?!" Nilla also cried. "NILLA!!" Batty cried happily. He was so excited to see his crush again, that he swung her around in his arms hugging her endlessly. "How did you guys get here?" Pips asked Crysta.
"I can't believe it...you came back for me." Says Nilla. Not only was she impress that her friend came back for her, but she was also touch that he stay truthful and faithful for keeping his promise to help them. "I had to Nilla, I can't help myself. I lov--" Batty was saying. He almost had his chance to reveal his true expressing feelings to his loved one til Pips had ruin the moment. "ZAK!! We lost him." Nilla gasped too, for feeling so foolish they forgot about him. "Oh no! Zak!" She turned her head back looking worriedly for him and for Mattie too before looking back at her friends. "You guys find a way out to safety, I'm going back to help the human."
"WHAT?! But-but-but NO! Nilla--" Batty pleaded with her, but the she bat knew she HAD to go rescue him. "Batty please! I can do this." She said as her eyes dimfully gleem with sparkling sorrow. Then took out to head out to go save her friend. "I hope she knows what she's doing." Batty worriedly thought.

Crysta was surprised to see Pips. She flew over to him and hugged him happy to see him. When Pips had said Zak was still back there she said "Oh no Zak. We have to go after him!" She was going to go after him too but stopped herself letting Leslie (Nilla) go instead hoping both she and Zak would be alright.
Meanwhile Zak had gotten most of the cages unlocked and set the bats free as well as a couple animals he discovered were in the room. And was now working on the last cage with five seconds to go till destruction

Batty took Crysta and Pips with him outside and waited by the air, hoping and praying that the others would get out okay before the destruction would explode. After Zak had release them from their cage, Mattie and all of the other bats pile up together and slam their way outta the ceiling, marking a huge hole that look like someone took a big bite out of and somehow disappear somewhere to the sky to hid to wait for everything to be over. Nilla bravely burst through outta the windows and grab Zak by the hand with her feet, pulling him a quickly. "This way! Come on! To the ceiling!!"
"There they are!" Pips exclaimed pointing at them when they saw them at the top. He could see that Nilla and Zak make it out all right from the other side, but that didn't stop there. Pips took out his flute and started to play, magically using his powers to drive all the way over to Zak and shrunk him back to 3 inches tall. Just seconds away til the big exploden gave out. KA-BOOM! Nilla had to hurry up and carry Zak to safetly now that it was easier for her to get out faster by taking him for a flight. Unfortunately, now wasn't the best time to celebration. From outta nowhere, one of the giant pieces from the exploden of the building had crash onto Nilla, making her drop Zak. Crysta, Pips and Batty watch in horror to see their two closet friends falling. "Come on!!" Pips says to Crysta, having her to follow him to rescue Zak while Nilla tragically crashed harshly onto one of the big dark rocks before landing into the big water. Batty frantically began to search for his beloved Nilla while Pips and Crysta were off to rescue Zak before he was a goner.

Crysta nodded flying with Pips after Zak lifting him by one of his hands letting Pips lift him by the other. He coughed up a little bit of water but seemed to be alright.
