"What Zak is trying to say is we've gone through a much bigger threat than Mattie and-" Crysta says
"And we're not worried about him" Zak finishes

"You don't know what it's like living with that jerk!" Leslie cried. Batty was stunned by the name calling. "What?"
"Yeah, that's right. I said jerk! I called him a jerk and I don't care!!"
"Go on..." Pips said, waiting for follow more on Leslie's rants about Mattie. "That idiot call me a disgrace today cause I've wore this all my life!" She added, pointing to her black collar with the diamond stone hanging from it. "He keeps thinking I'm his girl, but I'm not. I..." Leslie heaved a sigh in disapointment. "Sometimes...I just wish he let me go. I don't wanna be with a guy that's mean to everyone!" Hearing upon this, Batty wasn't so sure if now was the right time to tell Leslie how he felt about her. It was clear to him that Mattie had always been a jerk from that time he found out that Mattie had been treated her badly.
If only he wish he could have the guts to put Mattie down for disrespecting Leslie. Only then he would know that Leslie would his rightful girl. He kept quiet as Leslie had finish up on her crazy ranting towards Mattie.

"That is terrible and I don't blame you for wanting to get away from it all I would too" Crysta says while Zak whispers to Batty "Hey Batty I'm gonna give you a little tip this is the part where you tell her that that is awful and you wish there was something you could do to help"
He kept his whispers low so only Batty would hear him

Batty nodded his head. If he was ready for it, then he was gonna give it the best chance that he got before it was late. Pips lean his head to see that Zak was whispering something at Batty's ear. This fairy grinned evily, thinking he can try something for fun to ruin it. He flew up a little and rub his chin, so he began to ask Leslie a question something that the she bat never thought she be asking.
"Really? Well...where do you find yourself now? If you can get away from Mattie?" He asked, but Leslie wasn't following his questions. "'Cuse me?"
"If you can see yourself with another bat, who would it be? What do you want from a man that can please you?" Pips had to simply ask to make it shorter and easier for Leslie to answer. Batty was shock from hearing this. He wanted to scream out to the fairy "WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" but he couldn't. All in his replyment was nothing but a short simple but whiny little eep sound! Leslie had to think Pips' question over carefully.
"Well...if I could be with a bat that's not Mattie, I be with someone who's there for me, makes me laugh and takes care of me when I'm sick. And also---" Leslie explain, but Batty had to put a stop to it. He threw his wings at Pips and cover his mouth. "OHHH KAY! That's enough!!" He said smiling sheepsily.

Zak and Crysta both exchanged an uh oh look as Pips had asked Leslie what she looked for in another bat. Zak then glared at Pips 'he did that on purpose, I know he did' he thought annoyed. "Uh well um Batty sure likes to make people laugh don't ya batty?" Zak says trying again to turn the conversation back to a positive side in Batty's favor "Yes and he is also very caring" Crysta added helping out and Zak sent her a small thank you kind of smile

"Batty?" Leslie says, a little over suprised that they said his name. She glance over at him with no smile, no mad looks. Just a small suprise blank look to show her that she wasn't kidding about them choosing Batty to be the right bat for her. Batty smiled embarassedly with a light nervous chuckle.
Leslie wasn't so sure if Batty was the right choice for her, but she did care for him like he would for any other friend, but that was no right for her to doubt him as of that. Like Batty, Leslie can be sweet and caring for loved ones. Still, Leslie couldn't decided for her own. Batty was always there for her, even at that time when they were seperated back at the lab. "Hmmm....maybe they're right." Leslie thought. There be no other perfect bat for her to love than the hilarious friend loving bat Batty Koda. But a reminder hit her on the head.
If she wanted to stay with the one that she loved, she knew she couldn't go on with a lie. Though she hasn't known Pips, Crysta and Zak too long, Leslie was getting to worry to think on Batty's reaction if he learned that she was really named Nilla Joy and came from a home by humans that ran batkeeping before being joined in Mattie's herd.

Crysta was the first who began to see that something seemed to be on Leslie's mind. "Leslie? Is something wrong?" she asked.
Zak meanwhile was about to say something to Pips but hearing Crysta ask that he turned around and looked at Leslie and looking at her for a moment he too could see she was hiding something for it was a feeling he had always known and always been able to recognize as it seemed he was always hiding something too

Leslie needed to snap outta her thoughts before Zak and the others could figure out what she may of been hiding. "Hmm? Oh nothing! Nothing to bother about little fairy bug, I'm fine. Really!" She told Crysta but in her mind, she was feeling uneasy. Batty haven't notice this though he was awful at reading's people's thoughts even if they were trying to hide something. Pips unwriggle himself outta Batty's wings, but didn't say anything when he saw that the cream-vanilla color she-bat was worried about something.

Zak knew very well she was lying but he also knew that if they continued to bug her about it she would never tell them at least that's what he would do if he was in her position that or lie anyway.
"...Alright.....if you're sure" Crysta says though she still felt a little unsure that Leslie was alright. Zak grinned slightly as Pips wriggled himself out of Batty's wings but quickly wiped it away when Crysta sent him a look that seemed to say 'Don't start'.
