One of my fave animated movies since i was 14 about 15 years ago when i rewatched it after not seeing it in long since i was 5 24 years ago and it's a well made adult animated enviromentalist fantasy movie despite it's PG-rating there's brief nudity and graphic violence abound.
It's very similar to Ferngully but it was years before Ferngully and more aimed at adults. It's set in the future after a nuclear holocaust and war, some humans have survived while the rest of humanity have changed into hideous mutants who roam the world and fairies, elves and dwarfs arise from their eternal sleep to live in the beautiful non-toxic parts of the world. A messiah named Avatar the great who is a good and kind wizard with a bimbo fairy named Elinore who rivals Crysta for sexy fairy and a brave elf named Weehawk go on a journey to a land called Montagar where his evil tyrant wizard brother wants to create a new war, tear down the environment and rule the world.
