i feel like i've actually posted about this before, but i couldn't find the old thread, so i'm posting about it again. XD;


So, i do some work/volunteering at a conservation center. It's a beautiful area. It's not a public place- it's just the two head ladies, and volunteers and workers like myself helping to take care of and reintroduce the animals back into the wild if at all possible. Or, just caring for them.

It's in a HUUUGE forest. Giant trees everywhere, it's...it kind of reminds me of ferngully sometimes .xD except obviously, it's NOT, and it's not a rainforest either.

The funny story I think i shared before that I'm sharing again, reminds me of ferngully in more ways!


It had just got done raining. It was drizzling lightly, but stopping. The sun had come back out, and oh man, the plants and area looked gorgeous because of this- and smelled really nice.

I was waiting for a ride, and i heard a strange noise in the distance. After focusing on it for several minutes, i realized it was a machine cutting down trees. really!

xD i instantly thought of ferngully, Hexxus, and the levler!

and i was like

omg i hope their machine won't come any closer.

They didn't though, of course not, hehe. It's a protected forest.


BUT IT WAS FUN.
SORRY IF I TOLD THAT STORY BEFORE, I LIKE IT.

YAY for forests that remind us of FernGully! Hehe. xD

Sometimes I'll take a trip to redwood forests by the coast, and it'll remind me of the film. I sometimes feel peaceful, and imagine I'm Crysta just strolling through the trees on a beautiful day in the canopy.....Errrr, understory, that is. lol

That's kinda creepy that you heard a leveler in a protected forest though! Weird. >.> Maybe it really WAS HEXXUS, sneaking up on you and trying to get you to help cut down the forest.

I am not sure you posted this up before Shauni but I think it's incredible that you are doing that and it's sounds so cool that it reminded you of Ferngully
