Some of you probably already know this, but this movie is finally coming out in November! I know it came to the theaters during the November of last year and I never really got a chance to see it, but I really wanted to because I'm a big fan of the Christmas Carol story and I'm a big Jim Carey fan, which is why I'm really looking forward to watching it on DVD when it comes out. I was just wanting to know if any of you guys have seen the film and I was also curious about what you guys thought about it.

I have watch it once when it was in theaters, but I didn't care for it very much. It was far too dark to watch. I wouldn't recommend it for the little ones. But the music in it is very nice and lovely to hear, especially from the end credits.
But I will say that Jim Carrey was excellent from those double roles that he play in.
The Christmas Carol version I like better was the one with Mickey and Scrooge McDuck in it. Funny how the story behind it shares the same name with Disney's own Scrooge have you notice? lol

Yeah, I had heard that the movie was a bit too dark kids, but I like it when animation, particularly animation that tends to be for kids, gets a little darker, because I think it gives adults a better chance to get into the film as well. But I'm glad that you enjoyed Jim Carrey's performance. I had heard that he does all of the ghosts in the film and I thought that was cool. Though I don't think it's a coincidence that the Scrooge from Ducktales resembles the one from the movie. I actually think that Carl Barks, who was the original creator of the Ducktakes comics that the show is based on, was inspired by Charles' Scrooge to create his own version of the character, and I do love the Christmas Carol starring Mickey and Scrooge. It's one of childhood favorites. I actually had to get it on DVD awhile back.
