Yeah, this one is actually security based.
I think we should make the fan fiction and fan art section unavailable to guests. In that, we should make them MEMBER-ONLY areas.
Why?
Anybody can see everything right now. On other proboards I've been on, that has proven a huge problem. Guests will come, steal artwork and stories, and then upload it as their own. =x I don't want to see your hard work stolen by people, so that's why I am suggesting it be done.
I WOULD do it myself, but I have literally no staff power. The only thing I can do is ban members.

That actually sounds like a good idea, because for one, art theft stinks. And secondly, if guests can see and read everything without becoming a member, then they'll probably think; "why should I even join this forum?" Not everyone I'm sure would say that, but maybe we'd get more new members if certain things were member-only extras.

I haven't run across a problem like that but I see why you would be concerned guys and I don't blame you. I think it's a good suggestion and I will get right to work on it  EDIT: Rather than create a whole new section for fanart and fanfiction to be private to members of the forum only I modified all the areas of the fanworks section except for the music videos to be only viewed by members of the forum |

lolol well good, because that's what I meant. xD I didn't mean make a new section, I meant make the existing areas off limits to guests. So I'm glad you did that instead and didn't make any new categories! I would have felt so bad. xD
