I think we love FernGully because it's just a great movie. It teaches you about what's going on in the world. They also show us how man is responsible for a lot of the rain forests being destroyed. Plus this movie is just very very random which I love. Then you also have Robin Williams who in my opinon really made this movie fun to watch. If you look at it this movie is kind of a precursor to Aladdin. Because this was the very first voice over Robin Williams did then after this movie he did The Genie.

It has an important message about life and what we are doing to it and that we must do something before it is too late. It has wonderful characters who provide them with excellent voices. The animation is beautiful and different. The music is sweet especially Sheena Easton's song A dream worth keeping.

I agree with you guys. There's nothing better than to send the message to the young and the old about taking care for our forest but not just that, we also need to keep our world save from Global Warning, Pollution and other stuff too before it turns into an ugly wasteland.

Yeah, I think the message is a good one.
Heh, but I can't lie- according to my parents, Hexxus was the reason I watched the movie as a kid. xD; Him and his song.
I'm a fan of Tim Curry /and/ Robin Williams, so for them to both be in one movie keeps me watching.

Lol. I can't remember why I watched the movie as a little kid all I know is I did and then I didn't touch it again up until about 4 or 5 years ago and I feel in love with it again

Hexxus. As soon as I saw him in the movie, my heart skipped a beat. Seriously, I LOVE HIM. More than anyone, I'm sure. Once I get obsessed, I can't stop talking. XD <33

Don't worry we are all friends here and you know that's perfectly alright because I have to have one character I really like to draw me into a movie or a tv show including Ferngully to make me like it but in case of Ferngully I have quite a couple characters I really like: Zak, Crysta, Batty, Pips

Yeah, I agree. I know I loved it because of the environmental message behind it, plus the romance (XD I'm a sucker for animated couples) and BATTY! Fuwa... XD Sorry.  |

Even though I've always loved the animation and the message Ferngully tries to bring across, I think the characters were one of the reasons why I loved this movie as a kid. My mom and I were big fans of Batty when I was growing up and we still are! Over the years, though, I do confess that I have become a bigger fan of Hexxus, but that probably has something to do with Tim Curry. I've also always liked the relationship between Zac and Crysta in the movie as well, even though I wasn't into romance all that much when I was a kid.
