Hey guys Earth Day is right around the corner and you know what that means Ferngully's Birthday is coming again.
Which brings me to ask what do you think we all should do here to celebrate it?
I am open to suggestions so feel free to run them by me.

 Whee, earth day! Hrm, I'm not sure..That's a very good question. What shooollludd we do. -thinks- Well, if everybody had msn, depending on what time they got on- or some kind of messenger, we could have one of those 'movie nights' or whatever like they do on Fantasmic. Basically, they choose a movie to watch- and all the members watch at the same time, hop into a chat room and talk about it. We could have an epic chat while watching the movie Ferngully? THAT'S THE ONLY IDEA I HAVE.. |

Hey that's a great idea Shauni. I like that idea a lot! And it works too cause I think everyone on the board has the Ferngully movie with them.
I have mine on DVD and on my iPod so it shouldn't be no problem for me to watch it if I got the time for it on Earth Day.

I have a dvd of it but I don't see why we couldn't do that so long as we are all on at the same time, I think it sounds like a good idea  |

Sweet! Hrm, well what timezones do we all live in? I'm in Illinois ,so I'm two hours ahead of Nilla. I'm not sure about you Katie. =o Do you live in the same timezone as her, or something closer to where I am? And, any other members interested in this- please, post to tell me your timezone! |

Darn it! I don't have MSN right now. But of course I own the special 2-disc edition of FernGully!
Probably a silly suggestion for another idea, but what if we all made another person something artsy that has to do with FernGully, as a present for Earth Day?
Maybe we could call it the; "A dream worth keeping ArtFest"...the dream being to save the earth.
Haha, that's probably redonkulous. Anyway, just throwing it out there.

Unless we could establish a chatbox on this site or something- that way, we would all be able to chat ON the site and we wouldn't have to worry about MSN or anything like that.
No no, I think that's a good idea Magic Missy. As long as we all wouldn't have to like, draw awesome stuff. xD Because I fail at Ferngully style! But I do think it's a good idea as well, and I like the name for it.

I think it sounds like a good idea. Why not do both? I can try making a chat for this forum so we can all chat on the forum together for Earth Day and we can make an area for Earth Day Artwork and for those who don't like drawing they could create an avatar or sig or a picture caption even. |

Those all sound like good ideas for me! And a little chat for the forum could be most useful if a member doesn't have a chatting account for AIM, YIM or MSN.

No, unfortunately I don't. My computer tends to be on the slower side, so messengers can be a bit aggravating to install/run. Maybe if I can get internet on my laptop, then I'll download MSN. Hey, installing a chatbox on here sounds like a really neat idea! That way online users could cummunicate with eachother whenever they pleased.
Haha, aww come on. I'll bet your drawings WOULD be insanely awesome. And thanks for liking my idea. It was just some random thing that popped into my head. That happens a lot with me.

Yeah, I completely understand. Even just msn is a pain on the older computer we have. Yes! we should totally get one. And leave random messages. lolol, the only question is which typpppe. there are a few. I'm not sure if I could handle one of those chatboxes that makes a loud noise every time a message shows up. But luckily that's only like..one type, and I think you can turn that option off. Well, you just let us know what other epic ideas pop into your head! Hrm, perhaps we should start working on the earth day stuff right away- when the area is up. It's next week, isn't it? |

Hehe, I will! I'm actually going to go start a post in the art section for the Earth Day ArtFest. I finished a picture of Nilla's OC, so I'm going to post it there and maybe other people can feel free to post their Earth Day pics as well. |
