A thread for Hexxus? Cool! He's one of my favorite characters. Sure, Crysta, Zac and Pips are all great, but Hexxus just rocks my socks! I was never afraid of him when I was a little, either, so I guess I'm a little wierd, too, but there's nothing wrong with that! Oh, and does anyone know where I can find the orginial Hexxus
song that they took out of the film? I would love to hear it!

I don't think that Hexxus is a pollution spirit and just that. He's a spirit of destruction. Destruction comes in many forms. I think that they focused him being a part of the leveler because pollution and rainforest deforestation is a large form of destruction in our day and age. And not to mention the entire point of the movie was to show children that deforestation is a bad thing.

I agree with you, battykoda. I definitely think he is the spirit of destruction, but they hyperfocused on pollution and deforestation because, as we all know, the point of the movie was to be all 'SAVE THE TREES! SAVE THE FORESTS!', so they definitely focused on more manmade aspects of destruction to show us the dangers we as humans can cause to our environment. (And that is one of the reasons I think hexxus was made so 'humanoid', with his humanish skeletal forms..to further shove it down our throats. XD)
