I've been thinking for a while about a new Ferngully topic to discuss, and it got me thinking of a reminder that I haven't thought about yet.
If Zak did have return to the sequel, do you think the plot would still had been kept the same way like it was or no? I think it would be hard for me to say yes or no to that cause we already got Budgi, her grandpa and the little baby animals but it would of been interesting to see him show up again just in case if he wanted to help out Crysta and the others to save the cute little critter creatures.

Oh if only if only lol. In my personal opinion I don't think it would've been the same. And my hopes is that it actually would've better not worse. Budgi and her grandfather are okay but let's face it they are no Zak lol.

Yeah, I like Budgi and her grandfather just as well, but the movie might've been better if Zac had returned. I agree with you there!

Yay! Someone agrees with me lol My other hope would've been if Zak had returned maybe they would've made a better villain too the ones in the second movie were kind of pathetic after all

Haha, boy do I agree with you there Fapingmulan. Some better villains would have been nice. D: Hexxus was an awessssommme villain, but in an environmental film- there's always good potential for nasty, scary human villains as well. (Which is what those kind of films like to go for, to make a villain scary- but realistic; the type of person who could exist and really cause trouble.) ..But, I've noticed there's a trend like that with some kid movies in recent years. Where they seem almost afraid to make the villains competent or scary. I notice it a lot in Pixar movies, actually. Where the villain is either not really a villain at all- just some kind of weak antagonist. OR the villain is a goof and they make them a humorous weird, goofy, bumbling sort of villain. (Disney is always good for awesome villains, though. ) lol, anyway yeah IDK. Maybe I'm wrong, but at least in the ferngully sequel- it seems like they had an interesting idea, but went in the wrong direction with it. As for budgie and her grandfather, I was alright with Budgie- though her grandfather kind of annoyed me. But it suffered the curse of a lot of animated movie sequels. Much lower budget, less quality animation, different voice actors, and a completely rushed story. Ferngully itself wasn't a very long movie, but they managed to have a decent amount of character development, plot, and threatening villain all at the same time. >.> I would have loved to see Zak return. It's kind of depressing to think he would just...never come back. Maybe that's more realistic, but still!
