Before reading this, I want the mods to know that I do not expect that this character will be accepted, but hey... it's always worth a shot. I've played this character for a month or two to get the feel of him on other roleplaying sites, and thought... eh, why not throw him in the FernGully RP's? I just copy/pasted this from the other FG forum to make things easy. I thought it was a pretty good bio I wrote up there, so here it is again.
So, everybody... meet Ualan (You-All-Ehn).
Character's Name: Ualan S. Hutton
Species: Leveler (XD Yeah, just read on.)
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Affiliation: Ualan is a good guy, out to help the forest despite his physical appearance. (Read the little details part to learn more on this.)
PHYSICAL DETAILS
Height: About the height of a 3 story house.
Weight: 28 Tons
Eyes: Thick, glassy optical lenses akin to large video camera lenses, mounted on the front of his block-like cab.
Overall physique: Ualan is the perfect definition of 'big, bulky machine'. He appears rather ominous until you get past his gigantic set of claws.

Physical Description: Ualan is a much different make and model than the leveler that Hexxus operates. He is a lot more on the squared-off/block-like shape, a different chipping feeder system (though still located on the front) and has a mostly black and grey paint job. He has dual front semi-truck-like exhaust pipes mounted on either side of his square cab as well as an array of large sideview mirrors that, coupled with his dark and glossy optical lenses, gives him the 'oversized puppy dog' appearance.
ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS
Personality: Ualan is a kind and gentle soul that has a bit of a 'hero' complex. He tends to come barging in to save the day even when the day isn't in trouble. He often appears timid around organic beings, keeping his claws in the air to prevent hurting anything. That said, when something or someone he cares for is in trouble, he'll put forth all the might within his gigantic leveler form to help. Due to what happened to him to make him what he is, he's a little on the PTSD-esque side, and has difficulty talking about the events that brought it about. He can sometimes come off as cold or rough around the edges, but get past that, and he's a friendly guy just trying to exist in a world that seems to be so unwelcoming to him.
Any relationships ( friendly or otherwise): Ualan is pretty much a loner. He meets somebody, helps them with whatever he can, then moves on. This might change, he's open to the idea of friendships, but because he's very self conscious, intimate relationships are out of the question.
Background/History: Ualan is an unfortunate incorporeal tree spirit that, thanks to some teenage bullies thinking they'd play a cruel trick on the dweeb, has ended up bound to the body of a leveler. Before that, he was like any other fairy, but had a disability that made him unable to use magick, and caused him to have problems speaking and socializing. After the transformation happened, Ualan left the rainforests of Australia, and much to his dismay, took up various freelance logging jobs. Each tree he cut down seemed to cut a piece of his heart out, and this began to have an effect on his personality. He felt he was beginning to lose touch with what he was born to do: protect the woods. Perhaps the only good thing that came of his transformation was that, because his fairy body was what was disabled, he then began to learn to speak. That said, all the time spent around lumberjacks has left a rather comical impact on his way of speaking.
Ualan feared he'd never be able to return to the land he loved as a child, fearing that the fairies would reject him, would never let him near the beautiful FernGully. Of course, he knew that they could sense that he was a gentle being, but still. News had spread to him about what happend with Hexxus and the other, non-sentient leveler. After being fired from a job for talking too much and scaring the new employees of the logging company, Ualan has gathered every bit of courage he could, and has started back in the direction of the rainforests. Perhaps there may be an advantage to having a leveler on the fairies' side? Fight fire with fire, they say.
