playin piano. Without the video- because like, that makes it a huge file and I'm kinda ugly and way too self-conscious about that to show myself playing the piano on youtube.
I also get really nervous when i play the piano and it's being recorded- even when i know i'm going to remove the video- so I will warn you now that I made several mistakes in every one of these songs- but I thought it was more realistic to leave them in. I didn't want to record 100 times just to get a song perfect. Everybody makes mistakes, and usually mine are my fingers slipped to different keys or I forgot notes. hopefully my mistakes won't discourage you from listening. xD;
there was no place for non ferngully vids, which is why I put this here.
I recorded the audio with my webcam, which is why you hear static the entire time ( and in moonlight sonata, it captured a loud yawn my dad did- so you'll hear that too)
Any constant clicking is my electronic piano's new pedal I just bought. it's very loud.
I'll put the worst one first. I tried to play a few bars of the phantom of the opera overture. I printed somebody's self-composed version out and memorized some of it. I tried to play it from memory and totally blanked( you'll be able to tell where I forgot what the notes were and just made stuff up.)
This was also the first time I was recording with my new pedal- and I was stupid and forgot to check out how the pedal sounded with the organ setting before I hit record. Only when i started playing did I realize how horrible the pedal sounded with the organ. XD So you have a really awful song.

Here's a better one. The first two pages of claire de lune
And now, the phantom of the opera title song.
My first time playing it with my new pedal. I know it's slow- but I've always played this song too fast, and this is actually closer to the real song's tempo. Seriously- youtube the real song. Not the movie version, which was faster- but look up crawford phantom of the opera. I'm not saying this is spot on, but it's clooooser to the speed than the next one.
Here's another version of phantom of the opera. One I recorded before i got my pedal, so BEFORE the one I just posted above. I played the song waaaaay too fast, and my bird sang along. xD
And now, parts of moonlight sonata. Not the whole thing, too long for photobucket. My dad yawns loudly during one part, which you'll hear- and I made several big mistakes. xD
>.> that's it for now.
ANY SONGS YOU WANT ME TO TRY PLAYING? or did i kill you with my mistakes?
