Name: Hexxus and the Leveler
Age: Ancient
Species: Toxic Demon and Ominous Logging Machine.
Description: I play Hexxus in two forms. His classic smoke movie form, perched atop and controlling the leveler, as well as a humanoid form where he has pale grey skin, black dreadlocked hair, wears dirtied mechanic's shirts and stands about 6'5" tall. In this form, he drives the leveler like Tony and Ralph once did. Often, he shifts to benefit himself in any particular situation.
Personality: Morbidly happy-manic.
How is related to Ferngully: The main villain of the movie, arch enemy of the forest.
Rp example: (Posted from TheKeep, a website I play him on frequently. There's some minor OOC chit-chat that I didn't feel like editing out of the archive.)
23:29:13 [Hexxus_Leveler] Grinding, crunching, squealing sounds of death rang forth, their source unknown until towering smoke gave away what caused these heinous sounds. Trees and folliage were seemingly eaten by something, ripped from their roots and pulled into the gullet of an emormous logging machine, headlights beaming through the darkness of the smoke Hexxus consisted of like knives. Almost as though he was one with the machine, bottom half of his smoky form melded into the machine as though it were his legs, streams of toxic smoke swirling down the machine's sides, and atop it, a demon rose. This top half of the creature: a fierce-looking entity consisting entirely of the thick black and greyish smoke emitted from his person, angular features brought forth on his face, topped off by hazy, solid grey eyes. His smoke-constructed, muscular-shaped arms were extended forward, pointed fingers oustretched, him leaning against the top of the
23:29:49 [Hexxus_Leveler] machine like a man might lean palms-down while standing at a bar. The leveler came to a slow, grinding stop, those pupil-less eyes scanning the surroundings,"Too much..." he spoke in a deep and throaty voice, leaning in further, trails of smoke following his motions, he cleared his throat with a loud hack, "Life!" A sudden angry tone came about his voice, "Not for long!" The mammoth leveler stopped just in front of a wildlife-laden ring of trees, a quirky smile finding its way slithered across Hexxus' face as the saws and blades of the leveler began to hack at the structure, pulling loosened trunks into its mighty jaws, leaving nothing behind but stumps and sawdust.
23:40:03 *Ghost* would walk into the slightly patchy area, realizing the sound of machines. He would look around, smelling pollution he didn't like it. He would keep walking, not too afraid of the being he now sensed. His bladed gauntlets would shine in whatever dim ght would be available. The males bare stomach was viewable, but his chest was covered in a leather/chainmail mix armor. The lower half of him was covered in a belt of silver and a lower robe. His frame would wonder through the spare vegetation into the beast itself. He didn't even blink, finding it odd and none too afraid of the being, even as mechanical as it was. The being itself would was of no worry, he was more worried about trees falling on him. With a chuckle he would keep walking unless stopped for some odd ended reason. The forest itself was odd, smelling of sweat and dirt with a high amount of pollution, making him sick to his stomach. He would look up at the being and tilt his head, not a word spoken, not even an "AHHHH!" or "hello."

23:47:02 [Hexxus_Leveler] The leveler felled tree after tree, grinding the in-Hexxus'-opinion obtrusive growths into sawdust within its mighty jaws. Eyes shifted in the direction of a man walking amidst the Spirit of Destruction's path of horticultural annihilation. At this point in time, Hexxus wasn't much in the mood of dirtying the leveler's blades. After all, he'd just sharpened them. "Human." He spoke in that deep, throaty voice that sounded as though it should've come from a bubble of tar at the back of his neck. "Either you hitch a ride or clear my path." The demon did not sound happy about having to stop, but at the same time, he didn't threaten the seemingly-human man before him, which suggested he was in a little bit of a better mood than was typical for his type.
23:54:32 *Ghost* looked at him and smiled at the mention of human, still not a word spoken, nor did he move. He would blink a few times and look around, sensing the death of the trees and the grass, it bother him little, he found it quite interesting. He would speak out load, though the voice was but a whisper "I will not move, seeing as I am not in your way."It was probably the most the male was going to get out of him. He would sigh and turn around, finding the machine itself repulsive. He would shake his head and walk calmly into the limited brush, seeming to ghost.
00:03:40 Hexxus_Leveler laughed a rather manic-sounding, closed-mouth chuckle coupled with a lopsided grin. "Finally. Nothing to stop me." The leveler's massive diesel engine shifted back into gear, thick black exhaust pouring from the machine's upright, semi-truck-like pipes only to be inhaled by the demon of toxin known as Hexxus like the smoke of a good, strong cigarette. The leveler lurched forward, carrying the demon forth into the forest, eating everything in its path, woodland creatures such as squirrels, birds, etc. included. Hexxus had no mercy for such things, they depressed and frankly bored him. It sickened him to think that this place had been protected by local governments, preventing those heinously greedy humans from destroying it as they had to so many other forests. If they couldn't do it, Hexxus, accompanied by the immense logging machine known as the leveler, would do it himself. That was his mission this fine, full-moon evening.
00:08:23 *Ghost* watched from a distance and titled his head, hearing the screams and pain of the grass itself, it seemed to please him. His light silver robs over-looking the massive bestial contraption. He would pull a smoke out of his robed bottom half and light it with his mind, dragged deeply, and exhaled. The white hair of his shifted slightly as a small gust passed over him. He would exhale the smoke into the air to mix with the already poisonous atmosphere. This whole place was a corrupt nightmare, it made him chuckle, finding it funny for some reason.

00:16:46 [*Ghost*] ~test~
00:17:37 Hexxus_Leveler had found himself in a state of pure pleasure. The demon leaned forward, arms bent at a 90 degree angle until his mouth encircled the leveler's left exhaust pipe, Hexxus taking a large drag of the foul diesel smoke before rising once more to his full height. As he did so, his hands were thrust into the canopy above, pulling down vines, branches, nests, and other such natural things, felling them into the jaws of the leveler without a second thought that they might be somebody's home. His path of destruction grew not only forward, but upward, and all that was left behind the demon and his beloved machine was a barren, smoking wasteland.
00:21:39 *Ghost* watched calmly and stood, walking forward and jumping into a tree just outside the bath, visible, finding it funny how the being destroyed. He would tilt his head the other way and smile a little, he would lower his hand and force himself up and fall down the tree base and land about 500 feet from the front of the leveler, his wrist blades going to work, cutting trees down, finding moderate enjoyment.
00:30:05 Hexxus_Leveler laughed loudly once more in his deep, thundrous voice. "AHAH! Yes! Finally another sees my love for my work!" He was a little on the manic side, spastic and loud like somebody fresh out of the loony bin. It was often that one might run into him bursting into song as he and the leveler chugged along through the woods. "You, my flesh-based friend..." he coughed a loud, phlegmy-sounding hack, "I think you will be my ally.... mmmm, yes." All the time he spoke, he kept at his work, feeding trees, creatures, and other forest folliage to the leveler's bottomless digestive tract, leaving nothing behind but stumps and sawdust.
00:33:15 *Ghost* blinked slightly and smiled, his body working quickly, cutting trees in a flash, opening the path before the creature, other things lay dead, deer and larger beasts cut apart in seconds. He would jump up near a tree and spin, cutting the thing apart in sections with one blade and sending them flying into the creatures cutter, finding the mechanism interesting and joyous to watch in action. He hadn't even broken a sweat yet, but a sadistic smile was seen on that oddly innocent looking face.
00:43:08 [Hexxus_Leveler] "Where did you come from?" The demon asked, his tone lowering to one of a more serious nature. Upon running into people in the forest, it was typical that they attempted to stop him. For somebody to join him, well... that was a new experience. He had to know just where this stranger came from. The darkness that came from him was something magnificent that Hexxus hadn't seen from any humanoid before.

00:47:15 *Ghost* shrugged and shook his head, simple enough, he didn't know. He would jump into a tree and blink as the monstrosity ran it over and he rid it to the ground and jumped free just before the blades would have cut him the shards. He smiled and turned around and sliced the head clean off of a moose that hadn't managed to clear out fast enough. The little man was covered in blood and chunks of wood from head to toe it seemed. He looked up at the creature and jumped on the front of the massive thing, sitting on the hood of the mechanical half, watching the blades work themselves.
00:59:49 [Hexxus_Leveler] The leveler managed to suck the massive moose carcass into its workings, blood spraying up the machine's windshield and through Hexxus' form. The droplets seemed to poof through him, as though he really had no body at all, but was a smoky apperition, an incorporeal being. The leveler came to a hault, apparently clogged by the intake of the creature and its bones. Hexxus suddenly looked angry, his hazy grey brows furrowing as he leaned forward and down, looking into the gullet of the leveler. His left hand extended into the machine's workings, pulling forth bits and pieces of the animal, throwing them to the ground in splats of meat, bone and blood like shreds of paper pulled from a jammed copy machine. Once cleared, the leveler whirred back to life, blades continuing to thrash at whatever came into its path.
