I just watched the Pagemaster for the first time in, like, many years and I remembered how much that Dr. Jekyll/Hyde sequence scared the crap out of me when I was a kid! I still like this movie, though. It was one of my top childhood favroites. Is anybody else here a fan of it?

I watched this movie again not so long ago, I found it okay but didn't like it very much but I do love the end credit song "Whatever you imagine" it's such a beautiful song.

Oh, I love that song too, especially when it's playing in that scene where Richard is after the fairies. And I read on Imdb that the Nostalgia critic is going to review this movie. I imagine that won't be too pretty! Still, it might be funny. I liked seeing him get beat up by that woman in that one video!

Hehe, nostalgia critic and chick do get pretty brutal, but even their harsh reviews don't make me like anything less. ( And sometimes they review things they actually like, so here's hoping the pagemaster will be one of them!)
Anyway..I loved this movie. I really miss having it on vhs and now I want to go get it watch it again. xD
I really think the idea of it is neat. o3o lol I did a role play with somebody once inspired by it- where we played fictional characters/the type of characters that came alive from books in the library late at night.

Yeah, I might try to watch it too when I go to the library. And that game you were talking about sounds fun, HeXXus!

I think the film is a wonderful blend of live action and animation and this film became one of my favorite live action/animated films along with Disney's Song of The South (and the new film Enchanted), and Arthur and The Invisibles; and I love the end credit song "Whatever you imagine" it's such a beautiful song.

I actually never saw Arthur and the invisibles but I do agree that the Pagemaster has a very good blend of live action and 2D animation though and I love Enchanted too by the way lol.
