lolol, eh, thought I might as well. I know Nadine said you guys were working on adding non ferngully areas, but I'm still gonna suggest just 'cause.

I think there should be areas for non-ferngully fanfiction. Maybe a sub-board off of fan fiction and just call it 'non ferngully fanfiction'. and hey, maybe even original ideas if anybody wants to post those ( though, always gotta be careful with original stuff so nobody steals.)

I also think it'd be cool to have non-ferngully artwork places so people didn't have to use the general board to show it off, and there was an actual place for it so none of us have to feel like we're posting spam or anything.

Annnd, my last suggestion would just be a general role play board. Ferngully is awesome and fun to role play, but sometimes..We might want to do something else. Maybe Nilla wants to do an OS role play, or somebody else wants to do something non ferngully related.

=F It'd be cool, because if there was another thread for that, we could do ferngully-based role plays and role plays for other fandoms or original stuff at the same time.


You guys don't have to add the stuff, of course. I'm merely suggesting, this board looked lonely. xD

I think that's a swell idea cause I have forums for Open Season, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar and they had non-related stuff there too, but nobody ever used them cause I thought they only wanted to focus on the regular stuff that was mainly the theme of the fandom.

I'm not sure why I didn't inclue it before to the Ferngully board when me and FaPingMulan were working on it, but I have feel like I've been getting drawn to Quest for Camelot lately (I'll have to get it on DVD soon before I can do any roleplays for that movie)

I'm already on creater's block at the moment (that includes roleplays too. Don't ask why, my brain always controls my ideas a lot lol!) but I'll go with your suggestion HeXXus. It might bring in more attention and life for our board, but I'll only do it if people REALLY want to post their non-related Ferngully stuff on here. I'll start by sometime this week and get FaPingMulan to help me with it.

Ahh. Well I know certain times, at least for me, on forums like those- people like me usually don't post there, because we know our stuff will be ignored. But here, some people have already posted non ferngully-related things, so..x3 lol, yeah.

Heh, I am a staff member here, so...if you guys ever do think it's an okay idea to add, just tell me where you want the boards and I can put them up- so you two don't have to do everything yourselves.

Very well put Hexxus. Nadine and I did make another board last night for disney as well as other rps we are almost completely finished with it and I will post the link up for it soon. And if you want to put up a section for non ferngully fanfiction and fanart it's alright with me. I will give you the power to do so in case you don't already have it all I ask though is you place it under the ferngully ones so the board stays organized. As for role-plays that will most likely be handled at the new board because as Nadine said we don't want to take too much away from the main theme of this board which is Ferngully but we want people to feel a little more comfortable too so that's why there are a few non ferngully topics here but nothing major

I was going to wait until Nadine came back anyway, to see if she minded the sub-boards, or if she thought putting them on this new forum was a better idea. x3

Because, if there is another forum where I can post non-ferngully related fanfiction,( It isn't a disney movie either, the thing I want to post, but if the site allows more than just disney, I may just wait for that to be finished), then I may jump to that.

I'm not exactly sure how to fix some of the stuff in the Global Mod powers if you can't figure out how to add some extra stuff there, but if you want to be bump to admin, you can. You been doing a good job here keeping track of everything else and what not like me and Katie have.

Now about the sub-boards....I wanna make sure if I'm hearing you clearly when you wanted those. Please explain.

I don't need an admin position, I haven't even checked if I can make sub-boards yet, because I wanted an okay from both of you. And if you'd rather I not do that here and just post non ferngully-stuff on the other board after I explain, I'm perfectly alright with that too.

What I was thinking with those is, like FaPingMulan said, putting sub-boards on fanart and fanfiction. That means, underneath fanfiction on Ferngully, there would be a sub-board ( That you could not see unless you clicked on fanfiction), that would be called something like 'non ferngully fanfiction'- where members could post, well, lol fanfiction for other fandoms. Ditto for fan art, only it'd be for art.

But only if you two thought it was decent.

My logic was, I'd already seen people post art for other things- and I know some people do fanfics for other things, and if they wanted to share that ever, then there would be a place. Some people might not want to join a whole new forum in order to do that.

I wouldn't mind joining a new forum to do it, though. xD So if you're uncomfy with the idea after I've explained, I can deal with a ' I'd rather you save that sort of things for this new board' answer.

I dont know if its been said before, but could we have ferngully gifs/emotes I mean other furoms have themed ones, and if source is an issue. I would be more than happy to make and provide the gifs/emotes myself.

Ok I'll give it a shot, may take some time though, Not sure if I should animate it or not. I know they look better animate but I dont know is if it doable on such small images. I will certainly work on it now.
