"Fairies? You mean they're real?" Kia replies in surprise. "Yes" Zak says. "And you knew? Why didn't you say anything?" "Because I thought you wouldn't believe me if I told you. You were the very first person I told though." "Because people would think you were insane if you said anything am I right?" "Yeah that among other reasons" he says before turning to face Ualan. "I wouldn't blame them either no offense and I suppose I could try talking for you though I am not sure what to say exactly"

Ualan was surprised to hear that Zak already knew of the fairies. "You... you already know?" He scanned the man before him, going over the various readouts brought forth on his sometimes annoyingly detailed HUD. "Of course... you're the guy that stopped the logging company in Ferngully some months ago." Ualan spoke almost to himself in a distant-sounding tone as though he were thinking aloud. Granted, he had only heard the human side of the story through the lumberjacks' grapevine.
"What I need you to do... go to the fairies... there's an elder named Magi. She will remember me." Ualan had yet to hear of Magi's sacrifice. "You have to tell her what happened to me."

"Magi?" Zak says for a moment trying to remember who that was for a moment before he shook his head. "I can't, she-" he stopped not sure how to put it to Ualan. After taking a deep breath he finally added "She died. She sacrificed herself."
Even though Kia was not sure who Magi was exactly she couldn't help but feel some remorse for Ualan and the deceased fairy.

Ualan stood in silence for a long while. "I... I don't know what to do then..." He backed up a few feet, looking around aimlessly. "But the people I worked for... they had their sights set on FernGully before I left. They could be here in a matter of days. Even though it was fairies that turned me into this... thing... I can't let them die. You're welcome to come with me, but I'm going, regardless." With that, he turned around and once again headed for the thick jungle foliage surrounding the grasslands. After hearing of Magi's death, he no longer cared what they would think of him. He was one of them, if not in body then definitely in spirit.

OOC: I wanted to say the same thing I'm doing what HeXXus is doing. It's just been so hard for the two of us and I haven't done a Ferngully rp myself since February or March so it might get a little rusty for the both of us gals whether we may decide to jump in or not, but if HeXXus picks Batty, then I'm okay with that.
I like to see how she tries to play him cause he's just so hard to do for roleplaying lolz! I may try to pick Crystal, I always wanted to play her, but don't put me down on the list yet cause I don't know if I'll have time to jump in early or not. But like HeXXus, you two keep on going. No need to wait on us.

BIC: "Oh the poor guy..." Kia says as she watched him leave with Zak. He seemed so upset not that she blamed him of course heck she would probably be upset too if she was just told an old friend of hers died. Zak nodded. "Come on" he says. "You mean we're following him?" Kia asks. Zak nods before walking off to follow Ualan with Kia right behind him. At the moment Zak did not have a plan but he could only hope that he would come up with one before it was too late.

Ualan stopped at the edge of the forest, looking into the foliage. He looked to the two humans following him in his sideview mirrors. "I apologize, but there might be some... damage... when I go through here, but trust me, I don't mean harm," he assured the humans before slowly pushing onward, being forced to flatten a path as wide as himself, but no more than that, just enough to get by. He kept his sights out for fairies, wondering if he could even see them anymore. He watched for lights in the leaves, blue and green flickers, the only sign that one who didn't have the gift of fairy sight could see.

"We understand, don't we Zak?" Kia says as she walked behind Ualan. "Yeah sure" he replies a little distracted as he too was looking around for any sign of fairies wondering if he too could still see them or not
