Okay there are quite a few songs in Ferngully and I was wondering what everyone's favorite song was
Mine I would say is a Dream Worth Keeping by Sheena Easton it's a sweet beautiful song with wonderful lyrics and is probably the most romantic scenes in the whole movie

LOL is it really a suprise that I loves me some Toxic Love?
I just love how the guitar has enduring whine in some part(use of the whammy bar) and the part he sings "filthy brown, acid rain pouring, down like egg chow mein" . The orginal unedited version was the best.
My secound favorite is the Batty Rap. Rapping Robin Williams is just so much win there, and I like the guitar riff in the backround, though I did not tlike the original uncensored version. The censored verse did not fit the whole song and just sounded disturbing and wrong and kindof takes away the fun catchiness of the song, poor Batty.

I think the orginal version of Toxic Love was more disturbing than the regular version for Batty Rap cause they had Hexxus saying "A special kind of horny!" before they had to cut it out. I kinda find the other version of Batty Rap silly because one of the doctors keeps going "MEDICATE HIM! MEDICATE HIM! MEDICATE ME!!" Yes I know I'm crazy, but that's just how I am. I love crazy songs muwhahaha! X3 But it's no suprise to see what my favorite song from the movie is seeing how much I dig Batty Koda a lot hehe! BATTY BATTY BATTY!  |

I think the Batty song got cut because it was too long for the movie which is often what happens especially in animated movies and the Toxic Love one was cut for the quote Nilla Joy (Nadine) just mentioned lol. But I do agree both songs sound the best uncut

LOL When I first heard the original track of Toxic love I deleted all the songs in my headphones and played that all day for a week, mostly to transcibe it, but oh well you can't be good at everything.(couldn't do it)
I never understood why people thought the cut out verse in the batty rap was funny. I mean did you really check out the lyrics? They were drugging him and stuff and I distinctly heard him say "oh god, I'm bleed through my gent****s" I thought it really was too detailed on how bad he was treated. I found that disturbing. More than the "special kind of horny" line which I just took it as 'he feels very happy'
Nilla, I have a feeling you will LOVE some Weird Al songs. Those were funny too.

OMG! You have no idea Suze. I LIVE on Weird Al songs! They couldn't be anymore more weirder than these.
WHA?! Bleed through his HUH?! @_@ Are you sure? I might of heard something like that when the doctors were muttering in the background but I might be wrong. Maybe my hearing is going off! XDD

Yes Nilla, Thats exactly what he said. I mean too much info over there...I feel like his giving a way too detailed account of being tortured by the doctors. 
Oh why am I not suprise, My fav. is Amish paradise. LOL I know the words by heart now. LMAO ;D

Oh my gosh, I never noticed it said that in the Batty Rap until now and I suppose that makes even more sense when they cut the full version from the movie

I didn't knew Elton John had a song for the movie. I don't think I've heard Some Other World yet....oh wait a minute! I think I have. Wasn't that play during the end credits when they were showing the cast's names?  |

I'd have to say that my favorite song is Toxic Love. I have an MP3 player phone, and it's been on my top playlist for weeks. I'm also a singer, and have a very deep and throaty voice, so I enjoy singing it too. Maybe someday I'll put up a recording for y'all.
